Control

The Control Zone has a control technology focus. But is also equipped to produce industry standard graphics and Web design. It can be used by all students all ages from KS2 to adults.

This room has 30 Apple iMac computers with dual-boot capability, so that they can be used with Apple OSX or Windows operating systems. It is also fitted with a Smart board, linked to a teacher computer benefiting from NetOp Classroom Management software. The machines have:

Microsoft Office 2003 Pro
The Kar2ouche suite of software
Adobe Creative Suite CS4
Access to the internet
Smart Board Software
NetOp

In brief, this room can be used for control technology, data logging, graphic design, website creation, animation work and Kar2ouche, and can also be used as a general teaching and training area.
