Macromedia Freehand
This is an industry standard vector graphics tool which would allow your students
to create professional quality graphic designs for use in print or web media.
iStop Motion
Create innovative digital films that bring clay models to life.
Digital Video
Get your students to collaborate or work individually to produce video art work
to add to their portfolios.
Macromedia Dreamweaver
Get your students to collaborate to create professional looking web sites that
could take the form of showcases of their own work or galleries containing the
work of famous artists.
Adobe Photoshop CS
This is an industry standard bitmap image manipulation tool. Get your students to
explore the possibilities of digital image manipulation using original photographs or
images downloaded from the Internet.
Open Mind
This mind mapping tool would be particularly useful to illustrate historical events
in art on a timeline or for brainstorming ideas for project work.
Mediator 7
This powerful and easy to use multimedia authoring tool will allow your students
to create presentations of their art work that go way beyond Powerpoint and
allow them to produce CD ROMs and websites at the click of a mouse.
