Performance Space

The Stevenson Auditorium is the biggest room in the centre and has professional lighting and sound facilities. This area has a proscenium arch with drapes, a moveable stage unit and a seating capacity of 100 to allow performances to take place.

Sound in the Auditorium can be recorded on the high tech equipment in the Recording Studio connected to this area.

With a semi-sprung floor this space can be used for any physical activities such as drama and dance.

There is a large retractable screen for use with a ceiling projector which can be linked to a laptop for presentations and there is a DVD player.

A slide-away door partition allows the Cyber Café and the Auditorium to be turned into one large space for larger meetings and performances.

To maximise the use of this area the centre has a number of meeting tables which are easily moveable and can be arranged into a variety of layouts to suit any business meeting or training event. Combined with the retractable screen and ceiling projector this room can be used for almost any activity.

We also have a large "green-screen" curtain that allows us to create digital films containing special effects.
